Teen Girl 1: Are you going to Steubenville with us?
Me: Not the kind of question I was looking for but yes, I am.
All of them: Yes! (or variations thereof)

Me: Well... I'm old enough to have graduated college and gotten a job, so...

What is the Life in the Spirit Retreat (LSR) and why should I attend? Families in Christ Jesus Community-Youth offers these LSRs periodically all across the nation. Youth (ages 12-21) who participate in this 2 day retreat will be exposed to dynamic talks on the love of God, the lordship of Jesus, the power of the Holy Spirit, and growth towards new life! Testimonies from other youth will show how these teachings impact real life. It’s gonna be a whole weekend full of fun activities, sessions, games, etc. You do not have to be Catholic or even Christian to join! What is Families in Christ Jesus Community (FCJC)?  FCJC is a Roman Catholic-Christian Community that is charismatic, evangelistic, and family life oriented. It is made up of youth and their families who seek a personal relationship with Jesus and deeply desire to bring others to the same kind of relationship with Him. FCJC Youth Ministry is composed of those ages 12-21 who gather together in fun, fellowship, and faith. We meet often to deepen our faith in Him while having fun. Encouragement and spiritual support will be needed before, during, and most importantly, after, the retreat to sustain this new “life in the Spirit”. All parents are highly encouraged to attend the LSR Parent Orientation at 7:30AM on the first day of the retreat as well as the Family Talk (Time: TBA) on the last day of the retreat, all located at the retreat center.  ———————————————————————————————————————-REGISTER TODAY!
